We will tell stories at the Rumi Cafe at the Dances for Peace, after the dancing and pot luck at Llama Meadows., This is at our good friend’s Betty’s home. Please bring food to share and a donation. We are sending good energy out into the world, hoping for peace.
We will be out some summer, Friday nights, July and August, but check in with Beach Bards in Glen Arbor for the nights. This is a fun poetry circle. We sing songs and recite poetry and and tell stories. Many people participate, young and old . The first hour is mostly for the kids, the second hour is for the adults. It is around a campfire on the beach at Leelauna School. Laughter rings through the air. You get to walk over the Crystal River on your way to Lake Michigan to get come to the circle. Very beautiful. We find our new artist friends there are very fun and talented people.
We love Stone Circle. This is Terry Wooten’s event. Many poets come from far and wide to celebrate the beauty of the spoken word around a big campfire, which is surrounded by a huge circle of stones. We love to tell stories there. Bring $5.00 a piece to help with the wood cost. This event goes through the summer, most Saturdays.
